Pack 126 was chartered in 2015 in Bradenton, FL. Our charter organization, Peace Presbyterian Church, is where our meetings are traditionally held. Given the massive growth occurring in the Lakewood Ranch area, Pack 126 has grown into one of the largest in the District. Pack 126 has programs ranging from Lion to Webelos and our dens include both boys and girls ages 5 to 11 years.
Troop 126 was founded in 2023 and supports our Boy Scouting program, serving males 11 to 17 who have earned the Arrow of Light rank.
We believe that Scouts teaches life lessons, and that all eligible kids should be able to enjoy, participate, and contribute meaningfully.
We believe that the power of Scouting is strengthened by family involvement. All of our leaders have kids participating in Scouts.
We believe that Scouting should be both fun and immersive. Yes, we wear uniforms to our meetings, but we like to keep things light, too.
We will build, carve, cook, play games, story-tell, make crafts, participate in sports, race cars, and serve the community, together.
We will explore all that Florida offers through hiking, biking, camping, fishing, kayaking, archery, marksmanship, and more!
Scouting builds leaders. Several academic studies show that Scouts positively influences grades, social skills, and self-esteem.

Pack and Troop 126 are proud members of the Manatee District of the Southwest Florida Council of Boy Scouts of America. The Southwest Florida Council was chartered in July 1929. Their vision is to provide a program that is fun for all eligible youth; and through the Scout Oath and Law, develops them into the future leaders of our communities.
