Scouts continues to be one of the most affordable extracurricular activities available to youth today. Scouts BSA and Pack 126 are both nonprofit organizations and volunteer-led. All monies collected go directly back to the Scouting program to pay for awards, supplies, and equipment.
The national registration fee is $100 total. This includes a 1-time joining fee of $25 and an annual renewal fee of $75.
Pack 126 charges an annual Pack Dues fee of $150. This is traditionally collected in the Fall and all money directly supports our kids.
Each Scout rank has its own Book and Uniform Guidelines. These items are required. Uniforms & Book packages cost roughly $80.
While Pack 126 does its best to provide most supplies, items such as tents, sleeping bags, etc. may be needed for some activities.
Pack 126 often participates in optional field trips, overnight adventures, and activities. Some of these have participation fees.
Scouts BSA publishes a monthly magazine called Scout Life. It is an optional, but great resource, and the annual subscription is $15.
We believe that Scouting should be open to all eligible youth, no matter their circumstance. If your family is going through financial hardship and that is preventing your child from getting involved in Scouts, please Contact Us. We will do our best to work with you through the process.
Your support enables us to administer the Scouting program to both Pack and Troop 126. Thank you for being a part of our organization!
